When I dip, you dip, we dip

This section will take you approximately 15-25 minutes to complete.

A first dance without a dip is like a wedding without a honeymoon (perfectly fine, but much more fun when included!)

Dips don’t have to be stressful! They can be beautiful, easy and so much fun.

A NOTE OF CAUTION

Please make sure you watch the videos fully, and maybe multiple times, before attempting a dip on your own. You need to understand the concept and the rules so you make sure you don't fall and injure yourselves.

A NOTE OF ENCOURAGEMENT

I have taught more than 1,000 couples how to dance for their wedding in person and online and no one has ever fallen or been dropped during their first dance. If you are concerned about doing a dip and you don't have enough time to practice it, just skip it! You can always kiss at the end of your dance for a beautiful ending. If you do have time to practice a dip, throw some pillows or blankets on the floor, make sure there are no sharp edges nearby, and practice, practice, practice until you feel secure. You can do it!
